Lincoln English Language School offers English language acquisition
and “Adult Basic Skills” courses. LELS, opened in 1991, is an accredited
Adult Basic Education (ABE) program that serves approximately 1500 immigrants
and refugees annually.
Focused on English language instruction, this program provides eight
(8) levels of English language courses, family literacy, pre-GED, adult
basic skills, citizenship and accent reduction courses. This award winning
school is the largest community-based consortia in Minnesota.
